CRISIS SUPERVISOR

This position is based at Northampton Crisis Services in Florence and provides some services at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.¬† The Supervisor provides clinical leadership and support for the operations of Crisis Services; supervises program staff; and provides crisis intervention coverage.¬† The following are required: Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline, independently licensed, or eligibility for independent mental health licensure required, and five years’ experience working with mentally ill populations. Experience in crisis or inpatient settings and experience with youth and families preferred.¬† Desire to work with a team, strong leadership, communication skills, and computer proficiency including ability to work with electronic health required. Full or Part-time (32-40 hours/wk) with Saturday availability.

The Family Resource Clinician will provide direct care and clinical support services to FRC families and youth, prioritizing clinical services/supports to ‚ÄúChildren Requiring Assistance‚ÄĚ (CRA) related youth and family members. The Clinician will 1) perform trauma informed intake assessments and complete CANS clinical assessments, 2) lead the development of Family Support Plans, and assist in referral to ongoing therapeutic services; 3) lead on site groups for families and/or youth; 4) provide ongoing supervision and case management oversight to Family Partner, and 5) consult and collaborate with other professionals providing services to FRC clients. May supervise program staff or programming activities.

Qualifications include a clinical Master’s degree with independent mental health licensure and five years’ relevant experience; ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight, and ability to foster self-sufficiency in families using problem-solving and practical skills; familiarity with support groups or parent education groups. Excellent oral and written communication skills and computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software. Must be able to work independently and follow through with projects as well as be an effective member of a team. Flexible schedule may include evening and weekend work, as required by client needs. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

CRISIS CLINICIAN 

Full Time Day/ Evening/and Per Diem. Both positions provide assessment and brief interventions to adults, youth and families in psychiatric crisis.¬† Work with a expert tem of mental health professionals in community settings including homes, schools, hospital emergency department and the Crisis office to provide trauma sensitive interventions for safety and stabilizations.¬† Provide Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) as part of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative of Massachusetts.¬† Clinical Master’s degree required; minimum two years‚Äô experience treating individuals with mental illness preferred.¬†¬† Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

OVERNIGHT CRISIS CLINICIAN

Full or Part-time. Provide clinical evaluations of Crisis clients primarily at the local hospital emergency department. Must have Masters degree in clinical area.   Minimum two years’ post-masters clinical experience and licensing preferred, but not required. Must work well with health care team including nurses, physicians, and psychiatric back-up.   If on-call, must live within 30 minutes of site. Serving three or more night shifts will receive premium pay per shift. CSO is a trauma informed agency and provides excellent training opportunities. Supervision for independent licensing available. CSO provides quality services to meet the behavioral health needs of adults, youth and families throughout our service area. Become a member of a family centered, trauma informed Crisis Team.

INTEGRATED SERVICES MANAGER

The Manager of Integrated Services is responsible for ensuring full integration of CSO services for individual clients, including conducting initial intake assessments and triaging appropriately; will make appropriate internal agency and program referrals for clients as needed, maintaining an in depth knowledge of all CSO programs and referral sources; will also provide direct treatment services to individuals and families, and participate as an active member of agency management team.

Qualifications include a clinical Master’s degree; independent licensure preferred. Previous experience in behavioral health strongly preferred. Knowledge of managed care insurance plans and community services.

C.H.A.R.T. GRANT SCHOOL-BASED CLINICIAN

CHART Grant School-Based Clinician provides school-based counseling to children at grant-specified schools, and direct and indirect mental health services to children, adults and their families. The Clinician performs at a predetermined level of productivity, develops treatment plans and goals, and consults/collaborates with other professionals providing services to clients. The Clinician also participates in treatment planning, team meetings, in-service trainings, and other required meetings.

Qualifications include clinical Master’s degree with post master experience preferred in treatment of children, adults and/or families. Must be eligible for or hold highest level of Massachusetts‚Äô licensure in appropriate discipline, LICSW or LMHC preferred. PSYCHOLOGIST

To provide assessments and consultation services in outpatient clinic and through an in-home behavior therapy (IHBT) service. Responsibilities include psychological evaluations with adults and children, diagnostic evaluations, and consultation services as necessary. Will also provide home-based consultation services, including functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and designing of behavioral interventions for families of children with severe emotional disturbance. Qualifications: Licensed psychologist, licensure-eligible doctoral level clinician (Post-Doctoral Fellow), or pre-doctoral candidate enrolled in a doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology with a completed a pre-doctoral internship. Prior experience in psychological testing, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and child clinical work is preferred. Must have excellent writing and communication skills, good listening skills, nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency in families using problem-solving and practical skills, familiarity with support groups or parent education group. Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight. Be an effective member of a team. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Ability to work with volunteers and multiple levels of professional and paraprofessional staff. INTENSIVE CARE COORDINATOR PEER MENTOR

Part-time (20 hours weekly) providing individual support to Transition Age Youth (age 18-21).¬† The Peer Mentor¬†is a young adult who has “lived experience” interacting with the service system and uses¬†personal recovery experiences and helps to identify skills, supports and resources that participants will use to enhance wellness.¬† The Peer Mentor strives to inspire hope and to develop mutuality in peer-to-peer relationships.

The Intensive Care Coordination program works with families and/or young adults to build on family strengths and available support systems to assist children/youth with serious emotional disturbance to remain in or return to their communities by teaching the necessary skills to ensure success.

Qualifications include personal experience living with mental health challenges or special needs and a willingness to share their journey, with purpose and intent; a High School Diploma/GED, reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.   Preference for having  experience working with youth in professional or nonprofessional capacity. Good listening skills, nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency; desire to work in natural family and youth settings.  Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight.  Computer proficiency required including ability to work with email, electronic health record and word processing software.
