DIRECTOR, FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER – AMHERST

Full-time position providing clinical and administrative leadership for CSO’s newly established Family¬†Resource Center (FRC). The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day¬†center operations, activities and program planning and development for youth and families. The position will serve as an added value member of the agency’s management team and will participate in the region’s System of Care (SOC) meetings and coordinate the FRC subcommittee of the SOC.

Position qualifications¬†include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Master’s and licensure strongly preferred) with five years’ experience in program management and/or human services; at least three years supervisory/management experience, including supervising staff. Excellent clinical, interpersonal, organization and administrative skills. Computer proficiency required including the ability to work with electronic health record and word processing software.

CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST

We are currently conducting a search for a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS/RNCS) in our Northampton Outpatient Clinic to provide diagnostic evaluation and treatment of clients including prescription services. MSN and valid Mass. nursing licensure as RN/PC; certification as Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and at least five years’ experience in behavioral health treatment services. Part-time or full-time option.

INTEGRATED SERVICES MANAGER

The Manager of Integrated Services is responsible for ensuring full integration of CSO services for individual clients, including conducting initial intake assessments and triaging appropriately; will make appropriate internal agency and program referrals for clients as needed, maintaining an in depth knowledge of all CSO programs and referral sources; will also provide direct treatment services to individuals and families, and participate as an active member of agency management team.

Qualifications include a clinical Master’s degree; independent licensure preferred. Previous experience in behavioral health strongly preferred. Knowledge of managed care insurance plans and community services.

BILLING SPECIALIST–GREENFIELD¬†

Responsible for tasks relating to third party billing, including clerical and front reception desk duties; and the gathering, entering and verifying of pertinent information. Full-time. High school diploma or equivalent experience, computer experience in database programs, spreadsheets and word processing as well as third-party behavioral health billing experience required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, and able to handle situations in a professional customer-service oriented manner at all times with clients, staff and external sources.

CRISIS CLINICIAN 

Full time day/evening shift. Both positions provide assessment and brief interventions to adults, youth and families in psychiatric crisis.¬† Work with a expert tem of mental health professionals in community settings including homes, schools, hospital emergency department and the Crisis office to provide trauma sensitive interventions for safety and stabilizations.¬† Provide Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) as part of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative of Massachusetts.¬† Clinical Master’s degree required; minimum two years‚Äô experience treating individuals with mental illness preferred.¬†¬† Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Prior background in behavioral interventions and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) preferred but not required; training and supervision provided. Full-time or part-time. Massachusetts licensure preferred but not required. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

PSYCHOLOGIST

To provide assessments and consultation services in outpatient clinic and through an in-home behavior therapy (IHBT) service. Responsibilities include psychological evaluations with adults and children, diagnostic evaluations, and consultation services as necessary. Will also provide home-based consultation services, including functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and designing of behavioral interventions for families of children with severe emotional disturbance. Qualifications: Licensed psychologist, licensure-eligible doctoral level clinician (Post-Doctoral Fellow), or pre-doctoral candidate enrolled in a doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology with a completed a pre-doctoral internship. Prior experience in psychological testing, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and child clinical work is preferred. Must have excellent writing and communication skills, good listening skills, nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency in families using problem-solving and practical skills, familiarity with support groups or parent education group. Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight. Be an effective member of a team. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Ability to work with volunteers and multiple levels of professional and paraprofessional staff. Computer proficiency including ability to work with email and word processing software required. Massachusetts licensure preferred but not required. INTENSIVE CARE COORIDATOR

Working directly with children and families through the state’s Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative, facilitate the development of Care Planning Teams for youth with serious emotional disturbances (SEDs) enrolled in MassHealth. In concert with the Team, the Coordinator develops family-centered Individual Care Plans, and actively assists the child and family to obtain and monitor the delivery of available medical, educational, social, therapeutic, or other services. Must have Masters degree in clinical area.   Minimum two years’ post-masters clinical experience and licensing preferred, but not required. Must work well with health care team including nurses, physicians, and psychiatric back-up.   If on-call, must live within 30 minutes of site. Serving three or more night shifts will receive premium pay per shift. CSO is a trauma informed agency and provides excellent training opportunities. Supervision for independent licensing available.
