OFFICE MANAGER- Northampton

The Office Manager is responsible for working collaboratively with the billing department, administrative support staff and Program Managers in gathering pertinent information, verification and data entry of insurance information, as well as streamlining operations for maximum efficiency and output. The Office Manager will also supervise daily activities of onsite support staff. As required, and in a backup capacity, the Office Manager may fulfill the job requirements for an Administrative Assistant and/or Billing Specialist.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT- Part-time, Amherst

 Gain valuable experience as you work with our dynamic and professional clinical team! The Administrative Assistant is responsible for general reception, clerical and billing duties. Duties will include: Provide overall administrative and program support including dissemination of program materials and maintaining stock of forms, marketing and program calendar materials. File all information using proper office procedures, and maintain an organized office and reception area. Answer incoming phone calls, direct caller or document to appropriate staff. Provide welcome tours and reception to family and youth who drop-in, ensuring immediate access to FRC staff for families and youth in need; assist in providing information and referral for families. Ensure proper staff person or department is notified in a timely manner upon a visitor’s arrival and monitor to ensure visitor receives a response. Respond to customer service issues, follow up customer service issues, and ensure customer issues are professionally resolved in a timely manner. Maintain clerical support for documentation, administrative paperwork and data collection according to contract guidelines; ensure neat, accurate, and timely records in accordance with agency policies and procedures along with all regulatory bodies.Update monthly newsletter and marketing materials including flyers and monthly calendar. Support Director in the management of purchase requests, check requests, and petty cash reconciliation.

Required Skills: Specific qualifications include: High School diploma or equivalent experience with demonstrated reception, typing, word processing and office skills. FAMILY PARTNER

Part-time, 20 hours per week.¬† Service provided as part of Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI).¬†Resolve or ameliorate the referred youth‚Äôs emotional or behavioral needs by improving the capacity of the parent/caregiver to parent the youth and improve the youth‚Äôs functioning as identified in the Outpatient or In-Home Therapy treatment plan or Individual Care Plan (ICP). Minimum high school diploma or GED and two years‚Äô experience working with children, adolescents or transition age youth. Experience as parent/caregiver of a youth with special needs, and preferably a youth with mental health needs; willingness to share this experience/journey with child serving systems. Must be able to work effectively within the mental health system, with team members, and effectively empower parents/caregivers. Will be able to document activities in a manner that meets agency requirements. Willing to participate in job-related training when required. INTENSIVE CARE COORDINATOR

Working directly with children and families through the state’s Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative, facilitate the development of Care Planning Teams for youth with serious emotional disturbances (SEDs) enrolled in MassHealth. In concert with the Team, the Coordinator develops family-centered Individual Care Plans, and actively assists the child and family to obtain and monitor the delivery of available medical, educational, social, therapeutic, or other services. MOBILE CRISIS INTERVENTION (MCI) RECOVERY ADVOCATE

Assist clients and families in defining goals, reaching solutions, and achieving stabilization as part of a crisis intervention plan using a wraparound philosophy.  Role includes Crisis phone triage, providing supportive services to Crisis Stabilization clients, and providing family support and training while working with a clinician in Mobile Crisis Intervention procedures.Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health discipline or related field. Qualification as a family partner strongly preferred (person with extensive experience caring for a child receiving services). May also be a paraprofessional or peer specialist. Demonstrated experience working with children and families, demonstrated parenting skills, and good listening skills; an ability to foster self-sufficiency, familiarity with support and parent education resources, and an ability to use Wraparound philosophy emphasizing family and individual voice and choice. Must have Masters degree in clinical area.   Minimum two years’ post-masters clinical experience and licensing preferred, but not required. Must work well with health care team including nurses, physicians, and psychiatric back-up.   If on-call, must live within 30 minutes of site. Serving three or more night shifts will receive premium pay per shift. CSO is a trauma informed agency and provides excellent training opportunities. Supervision for independent licensing available. To provide assessments and consultation services in outpatient clinic and through an in-home behavior therapy (IHBT) service. Responsibilities include psychological evaluations with adults and children, diagnostic evaluations, and consultation services as necessary. Will also provide home-based consultation services, including functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and designing of behavioral interventions for families of children with severe emotional disturbance. Qualifications: Licensed psychologist, licensure-eligible doctoral level clinician (Post-Doctoral Fellow), or pre-doctoral candidate enrolled in a doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology with a completed a pre-doctoral internship. Prior experience in psychological testing, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and child clinical work is preferred. Must have excellent writing and communication skills, good listening skills, nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency in families using problem-solving and practical skills, familiarity with support groups or parent education group. Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight. Be an effective member of a team. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Ability to work with volunteers and multiple levels of professional and paraprofessional staff. Computer proficiency including ability to work with email and word processing software required. Massachusetts licensure preferred but not required. PEER BRIDGER

Part-time, 20 hours/week. To provide information, resources, advocacy and related services to support individuals through the crisis evaluation and stabilization .Offer hope and role modeling of recovery by sharing personal recovery experiences in a thoughtful way as appropriate. Manage and work with team to prioritize between designated roles including peer duties at the crisis evaluation site, mobile duties at the hospital or in the community, and support of individuals staying in respite. Communicate by phone or in person with individuals seeking evaluation support and advocate for needs as appropriate.  Support and advocate for individuals throughout the crisis evaluation process in the community or at the hospital independently or as a part of a team. Provide information, resources, support with goal setting, problem solving, advocacy and skills training in a variety of areas to individuals receiving services at the Respite as needed.  Knowledge of addictions required.
